Reconstruction of the power supply of the technical system of physical protection in the Dukovany NPP

I&C Energo a.s. is implementing the complete electrical part of "7385 - Reconstruction of the power supply of the technical system of physical protection" at the Dukovany NPP for ČEZ Energoservis, s.r.o. Within this operation, changes to the power supply of the technical system of physical protection are made. The aim is to prepare power points for the future connection of the power supply of the technical system of physical protection implemented under operation 7685 (Implementation of new technical requirements of the new Atomic Act into the technical system of physical protection at the Dukovany NPP). Complete reconstruction of the existing power supply point in structure 650/1-02 is being implemented and a new (second) power supply point in structure 441/1-01 is being created. It is a turnkey project. In addition to the processing of complete project documentation, complete replacement of the existing electrical equipment and the addition of new switchboards, inverters and rectifiers will also be implemented.

The aforementioned changes also have an impact on building, machinery, electronic fire alarm system and I&C system, including the addition of appropriate cabling.

The chosen solution represents a comprehensive solution to the issue of reliable power supply of the technical system of physical protection in accordance with the requirements of the new legislation for the long-term operation of the Dukovany NPP, ensuring trouble-free power supply to the new device of the technical system of physical protection including power and space reserves for the potential future extension of the technical system of physical protection and compliance with the requirements of the new legislation on continuous and failure-free power supply of the technical system of physical protection for an unlimited period of time.
