Replacement of shut-off valves of main feeding heads at the Dukovany NPP

I&C Energo has won a public tender and will be implementing a contract entitled "7817 - Replacement of shut-off valves of main feeding heads" at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant.

The subject of the work includes the documentation part and the implementation of the work in the form of turnkey delivery. This is a replacement of existing electrical valves with new ones with expected higher closing torque, including the implementation of all necessarily induced modifications on the affected equipment, structures and systems, including the implementation of the effects of seismic calculation on the valves.

Decree No. 358/2016 Coll. on the requirements for quality assurance and technical safety and the assessment and verification of conformity of selected equipment applies to the subject of the work. The work is included as a selected device in the BT2 and BT3 safety classes.

The work will be implemented in ten sub-units. Completion is scheduled for May 2025.
