Replacement of the actuators of the direct current drives at the Dukovany NPP

On the basis of winning a tender with a limited number of participants, we are implementing project "7157 - Replacement of the actuators of direct current drives of the run-down oil pump and the emergency shaft seal pumps" at the Dukovany NPP. These are comprehensive replacements of existing cabinets of actuators of direct current motors of run-down oil pumps of the turbo generator and emergency shaft seal pumps of the turbo generator in the form of a higher complete delivery of a set of machines and equipment, including all necessary modifications to the devices, structures and systems concerned.

Within the order, the original actuator cabinets, including the instrument charge, will be replaced with new cabinets with new device charge and retaining of the existing function, i.e. the cabinets will be equipped with commercially available bi-stable switching elements, i.e. switches (circuit breakers without trippers) with DC current switching capability and motor drive and time and voltage relays currently commercially available on the market.

Renewing device charge of actuators of DC motors of run-down oil pumps and emergency shaft seal pumps and replacing the whole actuator cabinets on all the units will ensure the reliable operation of DC motor actuators for the long-term operation of the Dukovany NPP, which also ensures commercial availability of spare parts for any repairs on all the units for the long-term operation of the Dukovany NPP.
